Tu Maura Pas

"Tu Maura Pas"?? C'est à  dire...

Me: ex-professional cyclist, American winemaker living in Bordeaux, France. I made this website as a bit of a personal blog, but more so as an outlet to put my words (often trapped in a French setting) onto 'paper.' I'll post wine studies I find interesting, shoutouts to friends who made the Olympic team, and random ramblings & gripes from the seismic cultural shift. If you somehow stumbled onto this, très chouette! Having a glass while reading is highly encouraged...

À bientôt!

Terroir - a French word that means a "sense of place." Terroir wines owe their characteristics to the interaction between the vines and the natural environment, including climate and soil.

In the cellar, workers take special care during the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations with tasks like yeast management, color extraction, oxidative regulation, pressing, and aging.

And all this so that the world can drink and be merry. Cheers!
